School Age Childcare Worker

This Certificate program is designed for those who wish to work in before and after school childcare settings or open a before/after school care program.

Your program will include studies in child development, health/safety and program planning for children ages 5-12. In addition you will learn the licensing regulations required for opening a before/after school care program in British Columbia.

When you attend classes at MTI, you receive individualized service and specialized training in our small class size settings. Our approach is to provide you with knowledge-based education and mentorship using highly qualified instructional staff.

After you graduate with a School Age Child Care Worker Certificate you can work in childcare settings for 5-12 year olds.
