Hospitality Management Internship Diploma

MTI's Hospitality Management Internship Program is designed for International students that want to acquire Canadian skills and knowledge in the hospitality industry.

The world of Hospitality is a fast growing industry full of exciting opportunities for graduates of this Diploma program. The Hospitality industry consists of lodging and food and beverage operations and this program will prepare you to work in any of these settings.

The hospitality industry is British Columbia’s number one employer and the projected growth to 2010 is an anticipated 34,000 additional jobs. Graduates in the Hospitality Management Diploma Program will receive certification from the prestigious Educational Institute of American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA). MTI further enhances your training with a 12 week paid internship in a hospitality setting. Students can expect to be paid between $700 and $1000 per month during the internship.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or 19 years of age, Entrance Assessment, Successful Completion of a Criminal Record Check.

DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS:

Overall Average of 70%.

Must pass every course in the program by the minimum required mark of 60%.
